Absar is son of Abdul Aziz Manjiyil, a resident of Qatar . He was a student of Ideal Indian School and joined the Sir Syed English Medium School, Pudumanssery, Trissur, Kerala. He started writing poems at the age of eight and wrote his last poem just a few minutes before his death. He drowned in a water canal in his home village on June 26 last year, when he was 13.
